The Most Unusual “Art” Imaginable

A collection of the most unusual art imaginable recently sold for—wait for this—20 MILLION AMERICAN DOLLARS.

Willard WIgan can neither read nor write and, as he says, it made him feel small. That feeling was expressed through his creations of micro-art, and I mean, micro art.

ABC News in the USA reported that Wigan sold his collection of mini-miniatures for twenty million US dollars. Wigan’s website. I don’t know whether or not it is true, but Wigan’s website says that David Lloyd, a former England Davis Cup Captain, bought Wigan’s collection of mini-miniatures and has it insured for 11 million pounds.

Wait, there’s more: Wigan was awarded Member of the British Empire for his services to art (by Prince Charles) in 2007. Soon, his work is going on tour. You can read about that and see examples of his work at:
