Going to three tiny towns in France: Colomars, Gordes and Autoire.
Ah French food, the countryside of Provence and good friends.
And mostly speaking French, the language of my heart and soul.

Coat Hanger Gorilla
David Mach’s 2007 sculpture Silver Back won him a place in the Guinness Book of Records for “largest coat hanger installation”; it’s not clear how much competition he had. The whole piece is 7 feet tall, 9 feet long, and 5 feet wide, and it required 2,705 hours and 7,500 hangers to make.

Another French Giant is Born
The Royale De Luxe Company from France has created another theatrical visual marvel. I LOVE THESE PEOPLE! Their first, work was a narrative played out in the streets: ” The little girl giant woke up one morning, got a shower from the Sultan;’s Elephant, and wandered off to play in the park…” To see a [...]

Surgery Makes Him An Artist
From Mirror.co.uk:
Life-saving brain surgery has turned a double-glazing salesman with no drawing skills into a talented artist. Alan Brown, 49, could barely draw before a 16-hour operation to stem a brain bleed. But after two months recovering in intensive care he tried doodling to pass the time. The moment his pencil touched the paper, Alan could precisely [...]
I Love This Image
The four reconfigured photographic images in this series (above) feature all the Playboy centrefolds from four particular decades (1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s). Salavon creates his signature blurred photographic effect by overlaying numerous photographs and averaging the results by computer, to make a visual amalgamation.
