Besides HUGE Olympic/Corporate banners going up around town in advance of the Olympic Games, two new public art installations have recently been installed—and they are interesting. I have not liked many of the Biennale installations, so the work by Yue Minjun is a pleasant surprise. The first installation along the new Canada Line subway, is also surprisingly interesting. Yea!
