I wrote a book called Artist Survival Skills: How to Make a Living as a Canadian Visual Artist. To support my book, I created a website where I could add to the book and make any necessary updates (particularly on the subjects of copyrights, taxation and internet marketing). The book and the website focus on the business of artmaking—the professional business life of the creative small business person. This blog is where I can maintain my passion for art and writing in a way that is more personal and looks at issues outside the business theme of the book and website.
